The Nest is one of my favorite vintage thrifts in the Providence area. Every time I go, I find something I love. And I also love the $30 fill a bag weekends they’ve offered. The vibes are immaculate in this business and everyone that works there is so friendly! Also love that they offer classes upstairs to crochet, sew, etc. I recommend this spot for everyone looking to find different thrift spots

Their $30 fill-a-bag days and their sewing/crocheting groups make this place a stand out. Super friendly, very knowledgeable people and its just a cool community hub.

Wonderful thrift store that truly embodies the ethos of “waste not, want not.” I really appreciate the lovely folks who work here as well as the wide range of sizes available across genders. I always walk out with something new!

Attended a clothing swap at the Nest and visited to check out their selection. Both visits I was met with kind and helpful service and the quality of the clothing was great! I will definitely be back to build my wardrobe more :)

I went for a fundraising event and it was great. They had drinks, food and shopping; all for a cause. New designers, vintage items and a DJ. Very well done. I bought several things (and felt good about it because some of the proceeds went to Save the Bay) They chose great people to be a part of their event and I would definitely go to another if they have more. I loved the cocktails and met other fabulous people that I will likely work with again in the future.

I took one of the sewing classes offered by the Nest, "Sewing 101" and would 100% recommend it! The instructor, Julia, was an absolute gem and incredibly knowledgable. She is skilled at explaining things and meets everyone where they are with 1-on-1 attention. The class was informative, fun, and went at a good pace for me. I went into class having no idea how to operate my machine and over the course of 4 classes, I created a tote bag and feel confident in pursuing more sewing projects. The class was worth every penny!

Great vintage clothing. They also have in house tailoring, which is what brought me here. I bought a vintage coat and the leather straps to hold the buttons snapped. I asked a good friend that sells vintage clothing where I should go for the repair and she recommended this cool spot. I was very happy with the work done on my coat and will now be bringing them more tailoring/repair work on my clothing. When I drop off my items I get to browse the racks and they also accept clothing donations. Friendly staff as well and the person who did my tailoring personally reached out. Excellent customer service.

I just took the sewing 101 class with Julia, and now I have a super cute tote bag that I made myself! She was a great instructor and provided lots of help. I’ve also had Julia do alterations on clothing for me, and now I have clothes that are fit to me! The vintage shop has a plus section, and they’ve had dedicated plus size clothing swaps. That makes it feel more welcoming to me as a person in a larger body

Julia is a true treasure here, her sewing lessons are fantastic and have become our favorite way to spend time together and enjoy the winter. Appreciate her expertise and how she teaches is a very approachable way to sewing. Looking forward to taking more sewing classes with Julia in yhe future.
